Has anyone read A Knight's Own Book of Chivalry by Geoffroi de Charny? I've been considering purchasing this book and have had it in my Amazon wish list for some time. I'd appreciate thoughts and opinions of this work. Thanks.

I can say that it is an excellent read and it is on my recommended reading list. I was fortunate to have borrowed a copy of the book a while back and have gained much insight into what Chivalry is and how to put it in practice.
Jason: I say go ahead and make the order for the book when you can. You won't regret it.

Thanks. It's pretty cheap to buy used on Amazon. I'll go ahead and grab it.
Out of curiosity, why is your motto in Hebrew?

It looks cool and Hebrew is a favorite language of mine.
You're welcome by the way. Glad I can help.

Ok I saw that you are from Jersey and you had Hebrew on your signature line and I thought you may be Jewish. Your last name sounds Sefardic.

Thank you, added to my wish list! :)

Lol, quite accurate. I am Jewish as in Jew by Choice (I practice Messianic Judaism). Thanks, yes it does hence many questions I get from people asking me if I am Israeli, lol.
Thank you, added to my wish list!
You're welcome Sir Rodney, be sure to get it, you won't regret it.

de Charny is an excellent but uncritical scholar, my suggestion would be that if you buy this book use his references as a template for expanding your library.

Which other books do you recommend?

Actually I will have to admit to an error here, I mistook it for another book I have in my library, since I am not with my collection at the moment I'll have to hold off on any suggestions for further reading. My apologies.

Apologies accepted, no worries Callym.
