Title: Wow, that's a tent!

It's 6 x 12 meters; in american terms - 18 feet by 36 feet and about 10 1/2 feet tall! That's the size of a small house!

Comes with ropes and poles, too. Never seen a medieval style tent like that before.

It seems this one was nearly custom-made just for me:

Dooooooooo iiiiiittt!!!

It would be the perfect match for your new sword/scabbard and shield!!  It's a must-buy!  You essentially can't afford not to buy it!

You guys...are like the worst best friends a guy could have!  And I mean that with all of the positive sincerity in my heart; would that I could drop that kind of money!

Actually, it would be getting to use it that would be the problem...my wife does not do camping.  Which is somewhat of a shame since I used to love it.  *sigh*

In any event, if I bought that tent now, I wouldn't be able to get any armor (or anything else for that matter) for the rest of the year!!!  That would not be good.  :)

Get a tent half the size then for just you. A good compromise. :)

And it can hold your horse too!

Then I saw this:

You keep using that word...

"Viking / Norman Market Tent"

Here are a few photographs of an event we attended in Marle Merovingian Village a few years ago.
I have never seen a tent like the one our good friend Juan Louis was staying in for the weekend, it`s the second photo from the top  ;)

I will try and find photo`s of the inside and post them here. The guys and girls on the continent don`t do things by halves  ::)

Yep, I could fit two of my tents inside there and still have room to spare!

WOW! *THAT* is indeed impressive!

As usual, Sir Gerard, your fun and adventures never fails to install a strong sense of envy. :) Would love to see pictures of that interior!

I'm digging all the plumage...Sir James is right, this instills a sense of envy the like of which I can honestly say I have never felt before.  :)

And they show them bathing...how medieval is that?  Really, how medieval is that- everyone knows people did not bathe from circa 600AD til the late 1970s.  lol

Truly gentlemen, I am completely amazed every time we visit France or Belgium and I see their displays. There just seems to be more traders and craftsmen making and selling this stuff on the continent, either that or they have too much money  ;)
I can only strive to have a set up a fraction of the quality of some of theirs.
