If I wasnt already getting one I'd probably of gotten this for myself. Only problem is it dont come with a scabbard and Albion's scabbards are expensive as hell. One i'm getting i'm getting the scabbard and the sword for a similar price so I should be fine. The pommel would prolly dig into my wrist too as I prefer a hammer grip to a handshake grip. But it is nice and I am half tempted to get it.

So you're more of a hacker, than slasher, Ulrich?  This sword would actually support such a fighting style rather well.  I just got my Crecy so no more swords for me.  For a while, at least.

Yeah it could, problem is I am already getting an albion... Thats whats stopping me otherwise I'd be getting this one.

I don't think I've ever seen one.  You got any pics?  The Crusader...they probably discontinued that model as I've not seen it in the Nextgen line up.  Still...if it is anything like the name implies, it should suit your persona perfectly!

I think all the first-gens were discontinued since they used Del Tin blades, and Albion makes their own now. It does give the first gens some "collector" status, since they aren't made any more, for people who would look for that kind of thing.

I've handled a DT a time or two...nice looking, but they've always felt a little on the heavy side and I wasn't overly impressed with what I'd handled.  Doesn't make them bad blades...just no wow factor far as I was concerned. 

I noticed DT swords have gone up in price in the last couple of months...is it bad that I don't feel any sort of way because I don't own one?  lol
