Is that an explosive combination, or do they get along? That can always make things interesting, so good luck! :)
We're hosting dinner for local friends and family this year. My wife and her sister take turns hosting.

Lunch with my family and dinner with my in-laws. Then chores all weekend ... with a chance of armoring.

Happy Thanksgiving to all order members! :) Enjoy your quality time & have fun feasting. ;)

We had a pretty good Thanksgiving over here. With friends and family, and including ourselves, it was a dinner for 10 (in my tiny little house). That's probably the limit for how many we can fit in here.
The turkey took a lot longer to cook than planned... something like 4.5 hours. The roaster appears to not reach the temperatures you select on the dial. We're going to have to test it with a thermometer at some point. Also, the bird still had some ice in the center despite thawing since Saturday. We were really surprised. It wasn't frozen anywhere, just still contained a little ice in the middle.
My brother-in-law brought his new longsword from SaberSmith (http://www.sabersmith.com/) for a little show-and-tell. It's not an Albion of course, but as renfaire sword-smiths go, this was actually pretty nice. It was balanced and yet still had some serious blade presence.
And of course several of us geeked out and talked about Guild Wars 2. :)

Happy Thanksgiving Brothers! Dinner with the German side of the family for me on Thanksgiving, and the Italian side meets on Saturday. No one except Italians understand Italian family gatherings, so they have separate days! 8)

I missed having Thanksgiving w/my family due to Sandy, so it was spent with my in-laws at their club house. Nice spread, ate a good amount but not enough to render me comatose. lol
I'm glad to see everyone else had an enjoyable holiday.
