Bo Danysh and his Norwegian battle ax.

Strike one...

Quote
He has been working at the Renaissance Festival since he was 14 years old. He is trained in combat and martial arts.

Strike two...

Quote
“I picked him up and slammed him back down on the ground, put my knee between his shoulder blades and locked his legs behind him until the police came over,”

Strike three, that burglar is done!

I did crack a laugh when I saw that he has a Norwegian axe, but his last name is Danysh. :)

Huzzah to that guy for not splitting the burglar in half!

Oh c'mon, that would have made a much cooler finish to the story! :)

Because taking that man's life would not have been necessary or heroic; he was a common thief- stealing from his master's table, but still not worth the loss of life, or subsequent emotional issues that come with taking a life.  Still, I agree- had he removed the man's offending hand, it would've been sensational.  Job well done, Mr. Danysh...funny that his name is such and he wielded an axe!
