Just finished making the kids' Halloween costumes and thought I'd post a few pics. I pulled the patterns off of Armour Archieve and used Steralite trash cans for the plates. The helmets are "for sale signs" with fiberglass and bondo. I pressed the shields and sewed the surcoats, too; although the heraldry is glued on (I'm only so crazy.) Maybe I should have posted this on the "Child Board" ;)

I'm jealous!!! I wish I'd had such a cool costume as a kid, and I wish I had two sons I could outfit like that!!! Congratulations man...well done, on both counts.

I know! Much more accurate (and better looking) than the silly LOTRish stuff I was kicking around in for the first year or so of my hobby.
