hmmmmmmmmmm i dunno about this

There's a couple cool pictures on there. I'm not sure anybody will be the lady in armor. Seems like the more popular pictures are LARPy/Fantasy ones.
-
I think I saw this on AA, the contest...I can't see FB but someone posited that this entry would win (if it were posted, I don't know). I would agree.

That would be Grace Holley, in the armor from Shroud by Jetre Films. Oddly enough, she didn't star in the movie - Nicole Leigh V-something did. It was an indie/low budget movie, but I liked it, and the very end was a cool surprise twist. I've been trying to find the DVD for quite some time.

Grace Holley. Thank you for putting a name to my personal goddess-in-arms. ;)
Nicole Leigh Verdin played the lead in Shroud but I did not see one bit of armor goodness in the trailer...just a drawing with '1410' written above it. Weird. But the trailer looked interesting...

Ah, Verdin, yep that's her. The armor is only featured towards the end of the movie, and there's a mish-mash of whips, axes, guns, sword and armor. It was a good movie, considering the budget. I'm partial to the dark hair, here's Nicole in the armor with the sword:

If you look closely at the picture, there's actually armor in it too. ;) Ugo Serrano and Patrick Thaden made it.
-
Verdin's sweet, no doubt about that, but...I'd still take Grace...something about redheads.

Oh, and lest I forget, Snow White will be in armor as well. STOKED.

I love how you worded that. :)

Oh, I caught the snarky little remark, just didn't feel the need to point it out- but thank you nonetheless, Sir Edward. You may have noticed that I remarked as to the lack of armor in the trailer. lol

Sorry, that wasn't intended as a snarky remark, it was a joke in that the beauty of the women in the photos might make us a bit blind to the armor - the armor being the second thing we'd notice, after the women. No offense meant. :(
-
Sure, sure...lol
I like how she holds that sword too.

Sir William & I concur...redheads!!! :)

Lord Dane, I think I may have to dub thee 'Threadromancer'. lol
But you're right...the reds are the hottest. Then blonds. lol

More brunettes for me ... won't argue with that! :D

All preferential but 1.) Redheads (Natural), 2.) Brunettes 3.) Blondes 4.) Jet Blacks.

Clearly couldn't put out that much money for a book without some previews first....

Sir James, I have that book...remind me to bring it with next time we get together so you can see it for yourself. I paid $30 including shipping from lulu.com I believe - it isn't worth what the ebaY auction's selling it for, no way.

Please do bring it. I'll try to have some napkins or plastic nearby to catch drool. :)

You know...I think the cheap quality of some of the armor and weapons you see might mitigate the ga-ga factor a bit. Just a bit. But, doesn't hurt to be prepared, right? ;)
Now I gotta find the book; I remember setting it down, where is the question.
