Chainmaille chausse (Leg protection). 16 gauge, 5/16 Inner diameter, butted maille of galvanize steel with upper brown heavy leather. The mail is 27 inches long, the Leather is 6 inches height. Will fit small to medium size leg. Price 100$, shipping to US 30$

I'm like Ser William, I don't care for butted maille much but that is a good price for 2, especially since that one guy bought one expecting 2 and got one. He should buy these, I'm not sure how well standard sized chausses would fit me anyway, cause I got extremely skinny legs, to the point where skinny jeans fit me like regular pants would...

I'm in the same boat, but I've more than cringed at the $495 price tag for the stainless rivited chausses. :(

Yeah, the price jump between the mild steel and the stainless is pretty huge. But I think it's worth it in the long-run, since it's durable and relatively low-maintenance.

Agreed...stainless is as no-muss-no-fuss as we're likely to get. I'm pretty sure my hauberk's stainless...it certainly is bright as all get out!
