Sweet! That is definitely going on my birthday list of Book to get! lol!
-
I went ahead and ordered it.

I did the same...looks interesting, albeit brief. 128 pages. ;)

Well, it's a reproduction of a medieval manuscript. So that's not that brief for something that was hand written and illustrated. :)

Alright, I stand corrected.

Nah, didn't mean to sound like I was correcting you. Just wanted to point out why it might seem like very little at first thought, but when you think about what it really is, it's actually pretty amazing. :)
I'm quite psyched about this book, actually.

I took it that way...I am used to modern printed matter; most of the books I tend to read weigh in at or over 500 pages regularly so that was where I was coming from. I did not consider that it would have to have been hand written. Thank you for the lesson, Bill. :)

Ordered. Thanks for the heads up and discount code, Sir Wolf!

np. now i expect a full book report on my desk when this comes out
-
Poor James. lol

Poor James. lol
Between Ed, you, and I, it's only 43 pages each. ;)
-
If we can get my potion down to 20, I might actually get around to reading it. :)

Well, Ed has a wedding to attend (he says plan, but we know the real deal) so I can see how he may not have time to read and write a book report but James, you have time- did you not complete all of your work on your armor already? :)

Is it ever done? ;) I'm still waiting on the mail skirt I ordered May 11th. The rough estimate is that it's still about a month away from arriving. At that point, I'll have to see if my plans for the new gambeson/arming coat will work.
However, the book doesn't come out until (IIRC) November, so I should have some time to read it over the holidays, and Sir Edward's wedding attendance will have taken place, too. :)

You know, I'm glad you said, Sir James...I've been watching for the postman nearly daily and no book yet. I did not think to consider that it might not have yet been printed out itself.
Wolf...you could've said so. Now a book's going to come and I'm not going to know what for...as I will have forgotten about it by then. lol

I had no idea it isn't already out until I started looking around to see if there were any reviews, while I waited for it to arrive. I was checking for any deliveries constantly too.

Anyone know if it will be better than the Exiles version of Fiore?
