I know I've been putting in some extra hours with the armor these past couple of nights!

I repaired both my splinted cuisses. They now tie onto my pourpoint instead of using a single strap.

Tonight I hope to finish off the second spring pin on my sugarloaf helm with visor and add straps to my haubergeon for my spaulders so I don’t have to mess with the harness anymore.  :-\

I've been ordering a few things to fix the eyelets that didn't stay in my gambeson, and to prep for attaching the skirt (whenever it gets here) and voiders. The method is a secret right now, but if it works, a how-to and pictures will follow. ;)

I'm fighting off jet lag...just got back from Cali - went to see my brother, first time since I got married in '07.  I will not let that happen again...far too long.  Had an awesome time though, best vacation in years.

LOL - imagine that...I've been ogling this set for about two years now...still can't believe I got them!  I'm hoping to get a leather punch this weekend so I can set up the straps, after that- I'll put it on and have the wife snap a few...the harness itself is still incomplete as I'm not sure if I'm going to go with a globose or CoP (or even brig maybe) and I'm not yet 100% sold on the helm I got for the kit.

Too many ideas and not enough money to go around!
