Seems like every decade or so a new armoring advancement comes out for us ... stainless, aluminum (for plates), kydex, titanium... I haven't even finished buying mail that isn't butted mild, and I'm already "behind".

I bet it's how they felt hundreds of years ago. "A BETTER helmet is available? But I just bought this great helm last month!"
