Thorsteinn:
Lindybeige on Youtube has some fun stuff on weapons and whatnot but here is a vid I love.
--------------
A point about weapons in fantasy worlds.
The anecdote about the turtle does make the scenario seem a bit dull - with the PCs turned into mere spectators, but it wasn't as bad as it might sound. The players just heard a quick description of the army's methods, and were of course free to try to intervene (they didn't, much), and most of the scenario dealt with other things.

Now I'm going to show it to the gun-bunny I play Pathfinder with.

Sir James A:
Seems about right?

Gauntlets? Pssh! Use the vambraces! That's what they're for! Right! Right?

I'm not sure if it's really bad armor, or the beginning of some kind of robo-mech with arm extensions... I respect the effort, but good grief!

Thorsteinn:
 :o

Dude there looks 3 sizes too small for that. Is it all from the same harness?

Sir Andrew:
The result of a good harness gone awry?

Sir James A:
Yeah, same harness, all being sold as a set on eBay by a seller with similar other offerings (whole harnesses). The legs seemed to be sized about right for him, which makes the discrepancy of arms .... interesting.
