Normans, Anglo-Saxons, Vikings: We will be displaying cavalry, camps, Viking longships, arms and armor of the period as well as battle reenactments and demonstrations for an educational (and somewhat entertaining) look at the 11th century! Come join our commemoration of one of the turning points of history; the invasion and conquest of England by William the Conqueror.

Brought to you by the Markland Confederation: www.markland.org
and the Longship Company: www.longshipco.org

Sir William:
Markland, been hearin about them.  I'm gonna try and make this one; anyone else?  Think they'll allow me in garb?

Sir Wolf:
well usually they like to be garbed up and allow public to come and see them.

http://www.larp.com/midgard/ here is the old Hastings website along with the clothing descriptions so if you want to fall in you will need to abide by.

Sir William:
That's alot to abide by...think I'd have to alter my kit and acquire new stuff in order to pass muster.  Ah well...there's always next year, right?

Sir Wolf:
just show up as public then :) ask questions and interact with them. nice group of guys. i've done hastings before but not for a while
