Astronomers Discover 'Class M' Planet

(1/1)

I especially liked this part of the story:

--- Quote ---The term "Class M" was coined by Star Trek creatory Gene Roddenberry, who used it to describe planets that had Earth-like temperatures and atmospheres in the fictional TV series.
--- End quote ---

Proof that yesteryear's "Science Fiction" terminology will be immortalized as our future annotations of scientific discoveries! – The only real issue I have with this discovery is the simple fact that we can determine the habitability of a planet light years distance from us but we can’t get an accurate weather forecast for the weekend!  :D

Sir William:
Indeed @ the accurate weather forecast

Of course, to be fair- those're long range scanner bots that suss out the habitable planets and plain ole human error when it comes to interpreting weather patterns.  LOL

I especially like it when Tony Perkins gives us a guarantee - he's usually wrong when he does that.  lol
