Copenhagen Medieval Market
« on: 2015-05-29, 13:00:26 »
Me and my fellow knight Ridder Smith, went to probably the biggest market in Denmark, the Copenhagen Medieval Market. around 1.300 reenactors....

I have some pics I thought you might like to see. It will give you an idea of how a danish medieval market would look like. Or at least our camp, ha ha  ;D

This pic of one of my helmets and my gauntlets, were posted on the officially market web page

Well... Me...

A nice pic I think....

We had some friends come by with a couple of their owls... This is the biggest one, Ullu...

Here we are with Ullu`s "mother" Joan  :)

And finally a great pic of me with Ullu...

Sir Sondegaard, it looks like a good time was had by all.  1300 re-enactors...must have been a most impressive sight.  Thank you for sharing.

That must be so sweet to have a medieval market as convenient as a grocery store. Americans are envious. :)

Thanks guys....

Yes, its nice to have so many medieval markets during the summer, all within 4-5 hours by car. Its a luxury problem to have to choose, because there are too many to attend..... And then we have medieval markets in Germany, Sweeden, Norway also, and of course the rest of Europe.,

You guys are allways welcome to come here and attend a market or two. So if you havent planned your summervacation yet, maybe that could be an idea? Especially the European Medieval festival we have every year here in Denmark in late august, is really nice to attend....

We allways have mead in the keg, and room for fellow knights from around the world  ;D

If we ever have the money to take a belated honeymoon we could do worse than Europe.
