The Oddity of Acquiring a Kit

(1/2) > >>

Paulus von Zurich:
Just a couple weeks back, I traded one of my triplicate WWII rifles for a riveted hauberk with attached coif. I always had a policy of not trading original firearms for replica made kit. However, this past weekend, I traded one of my replica Civil War muskets for an original WWII rifle.  :P

I know have my hauberk, helmet, sword and clothing. I need to tailor my maille and make some more clothing, build a shield, make a scabbard and belt and I am pretty much there.

Ian:
I just love how all of the trades were across at least one century.  Time traveling barter is the best :)

Sir William:
You lucky dog, Paul!  Great pick up, look forward to seeing it all together.

Paulus von Zurich:
I plan on working on my kit further, just as soon as I finish up my basement remodel. Still trying to decide on a heraldic scheme, but I think I have something in mind that will work. I do not relish the scabbard project, I have always disliked building them. However, I am too cheap to pay someone to do it for me.  :P

Sir James A:
We like pictures :)
