My knights impression

(1/4) > >>

Sir Humphrey:
The DOK fellows have seen this, but thought I would share here also.  This is my first knight's impression, c1300.  I still have lots of work to do and details to add, some of which wont get done before DOK14.  The first thing I need to do is tailor my mail sleeves.  I also found out that my torse is about 100 years too early, so I will add a mantle instead.  The colors are of the de Bohun family, specifically Sir Humphrey de Bohun, 4th Earl of Hereford and supposed owner of the 'unlucky" sword that is coming to auction soon.

Lord Dane:
I like it Sir Humphrey. :) Should be a success once you put on the final touches. Look forward to seeing the mantle. Some Ailettes would look nice with that design by the way for circa 1300 impression.

Ian:
As stated on Facebook, looks great Mark!

I agree, some ailettes would definitely look cool if you want to go that route!

Have you had an opportunity to try a separate belt just for the hauberk?

Thorsteinn:
Nice!

A mantle with intrinsic helm cover might also keep you a little cooler in the sun.

Sir Patrick:
Love it. Agreed on the ailettes. Easy to make BTW.
