Sir Rodney:
What: SCA event - Lilies War - Battle for the Raven Banner
When: Friday, June 13th – Sunday, June 22nd, 2014
Where: Kelsey Short Youth Camp - Smithville, MO
Why: Because I like to hit people with sticks.
I'm camping with my SCA Company for 9 days in the heat of the June Missouri sun. Is anyone else considering attending? Our camp is always open!

Strangely the only SCA event my beloved has ever been to was Lillies and she's always lived in Reno (Her sis in Kansas took her). She'd love to go again when we have money. Both her and Count Thjothrekr Eiriksson (former King of Calontir) say it's big fun.
Sir Rodney:
One week from now we’ll be nursing bruised limbs and egos from the first full day of fighting, with 7 more full days of charging, whacking and slashing to look forward to! ;D
