Medieval Art

(1/8) > >>

Mike W.:
I've been thinking about starting a thread where those of us who make pictorial art that pertains to medieval history can share our work and provide insightful commentary/discussion. I'll inaugurate it with some of my sketches.

Sir William:
Nice work, Baron.  I used to play at drawing knights when I was a kid, but mine were nowhere near as elaborate- and I was going off of drawings that were in a book and all the knights wore maille so...there you go.  This is really nice stuff, especially the Gothic one.

Sir Douglas:
German Gothic!! ;D I find that shiny metal is darn difficult to draw, even with a good reference, so kudos on that!

Oddly, I don't think I've ever done anything specifically medieval. I have a kinda-sorta Mongol thing that I did a while back.... I'll have to look through my paintings and sketches and such and see if I have anything worth showing.

Sir Nate:
You have a Talent. I can Easily respect that.
Pretty awesome pictures

Sir Rodney:
Very nicely drawn, thank you for sharing!

No one on this site wants to see my (lack of) drawing ability.   ;)
