Snowed In

<< < (5/7) > >>

Sir William:
Ugh.  Peer pressure.  lol

Might want to add- 'after you've been outside in it for at least an hour'...otherwise, it might not be cold enough.  ;)

Sir James A:
It was so cold here last night that the lights in my garage wouldn't even turn on. Those ballast-tube lights. I had to use a flash light!

Sir Rodney:
I grew up in northern Minnesota and usually laugh at the folks down south in the Twin Cities, but the last week has been BRUTAL.  School was canceled statewide on Monday by the Governor and most stayed closed Tuesday as well.

Both my elementary age children got to wait at the bus stop this morning at a much improved -9 F (-23 F wind chill).

For comparison, the bus stop temperature in the Twin Cities on Monday was -21 F (-46 F wind chill).  Even for an Iron Ranger from up north, that’s cold.   :o

If he can walk around without pants or underwear and not be cold, I'm doing something wrong.

I've done it. Wasn't that bad. Mybe its my Nordic Blood that make me 50% resistant to frost.

Sir William:
I think this is one of those rare circumstances where "pics or it didn't happen" do not apply.  lol
