Armor + Beach = sigh, I'm going to have to *really* clean the armor
Sir James A:
Taking my armor to the beach to get some random candids at the beach in full harness. Figuring sun tanning (without a woman in a bikini ... not because I find it offensive, but because I lack said woman :o - though we shall see if I attract any ladies once I get to the beach). I'm not sure if we have any sand toys to make a "castle" from, might see if I can sit on the life guard chair for a quick picture, maybe a volleyball net or something if there is one around. I don't think I'm going to do anything that involves being in the water, since my armor isn't stainless.
I left my sword at home out of discretion; I thought waving the sword around on the beach might be a cause for concern. And my dad said it might be interested to see them try to cuff me in harness; I slightly worry about that statement, though, now I'm wondering if I can get a cop to play along, a la Monty Python and the Holy Grail. 8)
My dad wants me to armor up and go over to the club house to let kids take pictures with me in full armor. Hopefully my chest/shoulder will be healed by then, as of now, I still can't even put a shirt on normally.
Anyone got some ideas for other types of pictures to take when I'm there? Beach related or beach themed, ideally, since I can take most other kinds of pictures elsewhere.
Sir Edward:
Heh, sounds like that will be fun! :) Making sand castles is of course a good photo-op. I could see some opportunities for other good pictures too. Perhaps one sitting on a reclined chair, with a margarita. :)
Lord Dane:
Nonsense. Go swimming n become the first human can of tuna to be eaten by a Great White. :)
Sir Nate:
makes me think of that mythbusters shark week episode.
at the end of the episode they are under water in a shark infested area with a full suit of armor and a sword.
they were butting sharks on the head with the pommel of the sword lol
Thorsteinn:
Pics?
