Sir Wolf:

i think i will be sending a check to get this. a 44/40 1866 yellowboy henry reproduction.

sigh........ happy birthday to me?

Sir Edward:

Very cool, you'll have to let me put a few rounds through it at some point.

Sir Wolf:
oh ya for sure.

still. can't believe I'm putting out the spread for it. kinda high but still WAYYYYYYY bellow msrp. it has a trigger job done to it also, getting rid of some of the pull. made for action shooters doing CASS/wild west shooting.

44/40s are like a buck a round. gotta start learning to reload. i have all the tools, just not the experience. guinea pigs anyone?)

Sir Edward:

Ah, .44-40 is a different cartridge than .44 Magnum, I was getting them confused. .44 Mag is usually pretty easy to come by, but I've never looked for .44-40.

Sounds like a great rifle though. I do like the western-style guns too.

My newest toy is a Walther PPK/S, .380ACP. I'm doing the James Bond thing. :)

Sir Wolf:
sweet. ;)
