California event....

I was wondering if anyone out there has got wind of the event out in California
called " The Order of The Phoenix"? It's November 2and 3rd and is being touted
as a World Invitational Jousting Tournament, and is real, no rennie stuff.
Also has single foot combat, demos, etc. Looks like it would be a blast!
Being sponsored by Historic Enterprises in the U.S. and the Royal Armouries, U.K.
May have to try to attend this next year if all goes well..... ;D

Sounds like a lot of fun! ugh California though? - Definately not a driving trip!  ;)

Maybe you can find a hedge wizard that claims he can magically teleport you to CA for a half ounce of gold or something like that.  I suspect he'd just be fleecing you out of the gold, but you never know!

I met such a wizard once while I was in California who offered me some magic mushrooms...does that count?  ;)
