Packing checklist for camping/overnight events

<< < (3/5) > >>

Sir Gerard de Rodes:
Brethren, they are truly extensive lists, I really have not the time to draw up my list, now a days it all just stays in it`s respective chests and bags and ends up in a massive pile in the spare room ( Lady Joanna is soooo understanding  ;) ).
After saying that I do tend to go through it all a few days before each event to remove/add items to suit any particular event.
I must admit it is getting to a stage where I really need a van  ::)

Sir Wolf:
i remember the days of events I'd have a long list of what i was bringing etc. now i do lh events and I'm like, what can i leave at home and not carry lol. sometimes i bring a wool blanket and sleep in a ditch instead of a tent with a cot and furniture. just for the simplicity lol

Sir James A:
Updated the first post with some stuff I've got packed from previous events. I'll update again if I pack anything else in the next week (preparing for Days of Knights).

Aiden of Oreland:
I have greatly considered going on a medieval camping trip sometime. Obviously not all of this stuff will be used. Do you know of alternative stuff that would be used for camping in the wilderness?

Mike W.:
My historical camping equipment consists of two canvas shelter halves, two wool blankets, and one gummed canvas ground cloth. That's it.
