(1/1)

Sir Wolf:
hey guys. i got some info on an event in the future you might want to come to. its really the old hastings that is trying to make a comeback.  i'll post more as i find out more. its a great day to come out and visit

--- Quote ---It's that time off year again! Medieval Days will be held this year on the lovely grounds of The Colonial Plantation on October 18 and 19. However, set up is on Friday October 17 and you are welcome to camp out on the evening of the 19th so you can leave on Monday morning.
Firewood and water are provided and I am working on straw as well. The brand new bathrooms will be opened and functioning by October !
My intention is to try to get La Belles on the level ground opposite the pastures (The area where you first walk into the park). I will space the other camps along the field and overflow beyond the paddock where we camped last year.
The groups invited are: La Belle's, Grey's Company, The Squire's Camp and the Norman/Saxon/Vikings from last year.
I will be going to the CP this weekend to go over a few more things and I will update the list on Monday evening.

Tancred:
Hi guys. I am new to the board and also the coordinator for this event. It will be a blast and the site is wonderful.
My fledgling Hussite camp will be up and running and I hope to get about five or six participants.
If anyone wants to set up a camp (ie, an early 14th C camp) please let me know. There is plenty of space.
This is a laid back event - you do not have to have immaculate gear to participate but you should "look the part".
Anyway, I wanted to say Hi and let you know I have been poking around for 20 minutes and really like what I see on this board.
