Looks great! What material did you end up deciding on? Are these spring or mild?

Ian- I went with spring steel and black leather. I can't wait till they're done!
Which reminds me.. a question for anyone who has sewn their own gloves to their gauntlets, any suggestions on what type of thread to use?
