"It wasn't the reward that mattered or the recognition you might harvest. It was your depth of commitment, your quality of service, the product of your devotion -- these were the things that counted in a life. When you gave purely, the honor came in the giving, and that was honor enough."

Nice Surcoat. Where did you get it made?

What personae are you creating? BTW, I like the colors  ;)

Thank You.  It is  from http://www.wildrosefarm.com/. facebook: http://www.facebook.com/pages/Ethereal-Threads/116348339221 . They are the ones that I bought my Templar from. I designed the color scheme and sent them a email describing it.
The rough in of my new personna is of Welsh decent named Rhys Coch. Coch is a earlier form of my real last name Cox. I am going for a mix of H.A and some fantasy. I want to have a charge, ( what is the proper name for the emblem on my chest?), of a Cockatrice.  The cocke being the namesake of Cox and the Cockatrice being a little more fierce.

Go for it. It looks quite nice. What period are you shooting for?

Looks good! I think you're off by a century though. It's looking like late 13th, meaning late 1200's. :)

I like your choice of coloring. I am working on a surcoat myself but have yet to sew it, I am dying it black though to match my coat of arms or maybe i'll just go with a Teutonic knight style surcoat as Ulrich seems like the perfect name for a german knight. Anyway what did you make it out of? Cotton? Linen?

Great, bold colours, deffinitely of a more 13th century length.

Thanks everyone.
@Sir Ulrich. I had the surcoat made, I only made the mantle and torse. But the fabric is a heavy cotton.

Looks great!  :)
- Funny when you first posted the pictures wasn't showing up for me so I couldn't actually *see* the new surcoat everyone was commenting on...so frustrating!  :-\
