Yes, that's a GDFB helmet. All of the GDFB helms are actually pretty decent for the price. It's a little heavy, being 14ga. You really need that when doing the rattan/baton sort of thing, but for renfaires and the like it may feel a bit heavy.

My motorcycle helmet is 4lbs and it's annoying to say the least...
But I'm used to the extra weight up top, not sure if I'll be ready for more than 4lbs mind you.

I've spoken with armstreet regarding their helmet and they are willing to make padding, and custom fit to my noggin which is great.  They'll also make the visor in 16ga or 14ga at no extra charge which is nice too and they can install a spring pin to help with keeping the visor up.
So with that in mind, I will be ordering the armstreet great helm and will let you all know how that goes.
I think I'll also be ordering the sabatons at the same time from them as I like the look and it matches.
