Opening weekend MDRF
SirNathanQ:
Yeah, how much would that cost? Anyone stayed at that chain before?
Sir Brian:
Most of the hotels in Annapolis run around $100 and up to $150 per night. There are some cheaper ones but those have their own inherent risks. You could always go further out from Crownsville/Annapolis area and perhaps get cheaper accommodations. ;)
Sir Edward:
That's a good point. It probably doesn't hurt to widen your search radius. Driving 30 minutes to faire isn't that big of a deal, so you don't have to find accommodations right next to the site.
$150/night sounds like a lot when you just need a place to crash to save a bunch of driving.
SirNathanQ:
Yeah, true. 30 minutes is pretty easy
Sir William:
Says the man who is being chauffeured to and from the Faire! Check with your 'driver', Sir Nathan and see if that would be amenable to him. You could also try priceline.com for the hotels in the area; tell Price Line what you're willing to pay and they'll find hotels willing to accomodate. Trick is to do it as you get nearer the deadline...too far out and you'll end up paying retail prices because of the length of time they'll have to fill those rooms.
Just a thought.
