Well, I got my chainmail chaps

<< < (3/11) > >>

ECOX:

--- Quote ---This version covers the front of both thighs and the front and back of the lower leg. It is constructed with zinc-plated 18 gauge steel in the traditional 4-in-1 linked pattern.

I agree have your parents complain. The ad states that IT covers BOTH THIGHS. Also be sure to post a review of the product so maybe you can help someone else avoid this.

Sir Ulrich:
What rubbish, I'd return it and get my money back because thats false advertising.

Leganoth:
Yeah i was planning on having my mom complain and try to get 1 for free or somthing because even the receipt says "protective leg proctectors"

Leganoth:
Also, on topic of my chain legs, would these boots be good to wear with them? http://www.medievalcollectibles.com/p-889-medieval-high-boot-without-fringe.aspx

Sir Ulrich:
I have those boots and they're rather uncomfortable and the size runs small (or maybe thats just the Robin Hood ones I have). I highly suggest GDFB shoes though at Kult of Athena if you want something rather cheap and accurate. http://www.kultofathena.com/clothing.asp For boots with chausses I would assume you actually need low boots for them so I'd go for a lower boot or shoe. Of course before any of that you'd actually need some padded chausses to put under the maille as well.
