Josh's Idea for a 16th Century Kit!

<< < (2/3) > >>

Sir Wolf:
gotcha! :) super sweet way to go though

Joshua Santana:
Thanks, as soon as I am able to order the full fitted Kit, I will post pictures of me in this particular Kit.  This is the Kit for my service as a Knight for Hire and for the helmet is the Armet from Illusion Armoring.  (I recall Sir Rodney's warning concerning the mentioned armory, I earlier on sent an email asking if they can make a custom fitted Armet, they responded two days later.  That is why)

here is the helmet

This might be the first Kit I might order, this has yet to be determined after my trip to Andre Sinou's workshop to checkout some of his helmets and ask him several questions concerning a stainless steel version of the same kit above or (a wild idea yet!) a stainless full flutted Maximilian style Harness.  The same thing goes for the late 14th Century Kit also from Merc Tailor, but this has yet to be determined soon, time and money is what I need.  I thank you brethren for being patient with me and for your invaluable advice on both Kits.

I will post the results after the visit.

Joshua Santana:
THREAD UPDATE!

Right now, I have just started on this kit, since this Kit will be the one I will wear when I perform my Knightly Duties as a Knight for Hire.

I have just ordered these items to start off from this insanely famous vendor.

In terms of a Soft Kit, that is the first thing I will create before I measure and order any plate armor from Allen.  I hence figured that a 25' Helmet and 24' Arming Cap would be nice to start.  I intend on getting this Kit piece by piece and getting each measurement right without unintentional screw ups as possible.  Pictures and maybe a review will be in order, thank you.

Sir Wolf:
sweet
