Chivalry in Lord of the Rings

(1/1)

Sir Edward:

Sir William:
The author drew many parallels with my own thoughts on LOTR...one of the many reasons why I still read it to this day.  Every other year or so I'll have another go at the Trilogy...even now, I find things I missed or may have forgotten.  It is such a great tale...of chivalry, honor, loyalty, sacrifice for the greater good- all ideals espoused by true knights.

Sir Wolf:
walking, complaining, walking, falling, complaining, walking... oh sorry that's just return of the king hehehehe

Sir William:
And that was mostly the non-warriors, the Hobbits...oh and Gimli, he did complain quite a bit.  I couldn't blame him though...he was at least a foot shorter and a good deal heavier what with all of that bulk he was carrying.

And they ran for 3 days and nights w/no rest- they earned their right to complain!  I would've been complaining three HOURS into that trek!  lol
