Yeah, the "Siggy" harness is my all time favorite. I can only dream of one day owning a nice repro like this one! (There's a picture of the original at VAF on the "historical swordsmanship" wall... its the one that has the two harnesses and the names of all the various armour parts)

i do hope william is srill making armour. i know he was going to quit cause of real life problems. i would love to get a piece or two from him.

He's still working...I just got his 15th c. arm harnesses, which he's making more of, thankfully.

your killing me here Christian. you really are. ;) I've got the spring steel, nails and patterns to make my brig, but it's just been sitting there in my shop for 3 years now. sigh

Well, mine is not *super* historic - leather exterior, aluminum plates (which are not a bad facsimile of the tinned originals, actually). It does have the triplets of rivets, which looks really cool though. Here's it on one of our other guys:

But, hey, I've had a lot of years to amass armour...both good and not so good...
