Came across this earlier today. Looks like it could come in handy for living history. http://www.amazon.com/Medieval-Tailors-Assistant-2nd-1100-1480/dp/0896762955/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1434119250&sr=8-1&keywords=medieval+tailor%27s+assistant

I think Sir Douglas has this?

I own the older edition (the 2nd ed just came out a couple weeks ago). It's an awesome resource. It goes through a lot of the basics and covers virtually every layer of garment a person could want. Anyone willing to give sewing their own historical clothing a shot should start with this book. I still refer to it all the time.

I have the old edition, too. I wonder how much has been updated and if it'd be worth buy again...when it goes on sale. ;)
