I have two sets of this pattern cut out, holes drilled, edges and holes deburred in 18 ga. mild steel. I'll shape the plates and both sets will be ready to ship by the end of this week.

While not exactly one size fits all, this is definitely a one size fits many pattern.
As shown it will fit me comfortably - 6 feet tall and 225 pounds. It's easily sized down, either by overlapping in the back - for a couple of inches of adjustment - or by taking out a side plate - for 6-8 inches of adjustment.

Asking $100 per set.

I would include a weight for the plates, but my scale has decided to take the day off Embarassed

Wow, $100? That's very tempting. I don't think I'd have time to work on it, at least not anytime soon, but he's already done the hardest part. The rest is just time consuming.

I used to see corrazina kits made of plastic advertised on the archive. I'd love it if someone did a steel corrazina kit like this. That's one of my favorite armour types.

That is very tempting! He's basing it on the Wisby stuff, so it looks like it's designed a little differently than the late 12th C, but being that it's more mid-14th, I guess it can be fudged a little. I'd still be free to design the coat the way I want.

Hmmm... need to think about this.

hahahaha. Sir Edward i have the metal cut out  and drilled for the armoured surcoats like ours. i just have to deburr them and shape them.  i can always cut out another one, it wasn't that hard and the steel is galv and 18 gauge so its light weight and rust proof hehehe.

If only I had the time to make a CoP.  I would really love to have one, I think they look so cool, especially when worn over Maille.  Alas, I have too many projects on the plate as it is.
