Title: Rear Admiral Cockburn
Post by: Sir Rodney on 2014-08-24, 04:05:16
On August 24-25th 1814, the British army captured Washington D.C. and set fire to many government buildings including the White House and Capital Building.

One of the perpetrators was named…

Rear Admiral Cockburn

Now that’s an unfortunate name!   :o
