So I have a beautiful hilt I need a blade made for, along with a scabbard. Does anyone have any recommendations as to anyone who would be able to forge the blade and make the scabbard? I have a blunt blade, I just need the sharp made. I'd also like to have some engraving on the blade done, so if anyone knows someone who can fill those needs, please let me know!

Pics? What kind of blade?

I wanted more of a broadsword type blade over the thin C&T blade-

Arms and Armor has a reputation for making good quality items. And making anything you request them to make. http://armor.com/swords.html (http://armor.com/swords.html)
But they don't make scabbards
This company makes good scabbards and will make ones to any blade measurement, but you will most likely have to send that blade in for measurements.

Both of these will be pricey though.

Arms and Armour is a good choice, they do a lot of nice custom work. They will usually do custom scabbards as well, although Christian Fletcher does a nice job too.

Blades depends on the quality you desire for the price you are willing to pay. Definitely Christian Fletcher for scabbards. He did the one for my Albion Vigil. Worth the money.

I just emailed Arms&Armor about the blade, once I hear back from them, we'll see if I have to continue my search or just wait for them to be able to get it done. I looked through Christian Fletcher's site and will definitely go with him for the scabbard!

Excellent! And welcome back!

Good to Hear!

Awesome, yeah that should look pretty good with an appropriate blade. Sort of a schiavona or backsword.

Thanks Sir James!
Ya, the C&T is a bit... flimsy? for me, it's way too light in the hand. Craig from A&A got back to me for some more details, so I settled on around a 36" blade in the broadsword fashion, around 1.75" in width

Nice! Pictures as you get them please!

The "as-it-is-now" pic is up there ^^
The C&T sharp blade is attached, and the blunt is lying next to it. Once I get the new blade from A&A, I'll post a new pic, and when I get the scabbard done, yet another! ;D
Update! Heard back from Craig at A&A. Blade is gonna run me $480. Plus another $200 for the engraving on each side.
