Title: Headwear
Post by: Mike W. on 2014-03-24, 01:52:45: Recalling from an old post what Ian had said: "No gentle should be seen with an uncovered head!" I decided that in order to accurately portray an 11th century Norman I would need period correct headwear. And thus I bought this...

and then I realized that if I flip it inside out, I get this...

I must resist the urge to buy a blue tunic and white hose.

For the younger readers, this was one of the precursors to the original Nintendo Entertainment System (NES), a video gaming system that came out- I just realized- before you were born. Wow, that makes me feel old! lol

I usually go with a simple linen coif, haven't seen any headgear that appeals to me. Or isn't complicated.

I started with Atari (not even the Atari 2600) and Intellivision... right there with you on the Colecovision. I didn't have it, but, same generation. Now I'm feeling old. :(

Post by: Aiden of Oreland on 2014-03-26, 19:43:04: I grew up with a Nintendo, Gamecube and Gameboy advanced. That's all I needed/still need. Now those were good systems. Fact, the construction of a GameCube is better of that of an Xbox and PS.
