Albion contacted me yesterday, and they're ready to ship my Marozzo that's been on order for quite some time, while it was in the concept phase. I should probably have it in about a week. This is a blunt trainer, and it's one that somewhat bridges the gap between single-hand swords and rapiers. It's very appropriate to a lot of the Italian single-hand sword techniques, including sword and Rotella (round shield).

Now I'm thinking I might need to get the Machiavelli, so I can have the sharp version too. :)

These swords look a lot like the earlier period disc-pommel swords, but with more of an emphasis on having a slightly longer and more narrow blade, and with finger-rings on the guard.
