Looking forward to seeing pricing. Plaque belts are usually insane.

Hell yeah!! I can't see the link until I get home so will look then. Our group leather worker made a couple of plack belts that really look the part for about £50.

I inquired, a got a friendly and timely response.

“Well Right now I am selling sets of 25 Metal Coated Plaques of your choice for $85.00. That gives 43.75" of continuous coverage. After that you can add on a set of 5 more for $15 adding 8.75 extra inches.
If you would like them antiqued or gloss finish it is an extra $10.00.
Shipping can be done for $6.00 by USPS if you are not in the buffalo area.
I currently only have my Belt Plaque Design 1 and only an Escarbuncle adornment available immediately. If there are different designs or adornments you would like or have any other questions let me know.”--- Dark Engineering

I think johnameyer over at AA has a very similar deal...$85 for a belt; his are composite, not metal.  Vander Linde, are you the same guy?

What do you mean same guy?  (I don’t quite understand the question)

EDIT:I’m not the maker in anyway; I work only in metal, wood and leather at the moment.

Vander Linde posted a reply from FB, it wasn't his post

$85 is very reasonable!

If by "monopoly money" you mean "James has no euros and no monopoly money" - yep! :)

Yeah you see I correlate some of the prices into my terms...an arm, an arm & a leg, a kidney & an arm, etc.  ;)

Between you and your wife, you could spare three kidneys and just share one, right? :)

I was debating on buying this set to make my own belt
(https://www.quietpress.com/Images4/Y-64W25.JPG)
Does anyone know how long it would be till I get it? I also would like to know if the SCA stuff there is historically accurate, as they sell a belt with the EXACT same sun as the one in my coat of arms which would match me rather well. Are any of these buckles usable for sword belts as well?
