I saw this on one of the mailing lists I'm on. Someone is selling their tent:
Hey, Dear Gentles and Other Types (whichever you prefer)!
We're thinking about getting a bigger tent, so I'm wondering if anyone is interested in buying our "old" tent. We've only used it one time (last year at Pennsic), so it's pretty new.
It is a 12X18 rectangular Marquee with:
10.38 oz. Sunforger Flame Retardant Canvas
Slant walls AND sod cloth
6-foot poles
Block Design with terra cotta colored dags.
We're asking $1200.00, and you don't have to pay S&H.
Cheers,

lol buy it, you know you need a new house ;)
-
If he buys it, he'll probably have to live in it for a while. Or the couch. lol
-
I already have one, I don't need it. :)
-
Who said anything about need? You're the Lord Commander!

Wait, what?? Imagine if we used that logic for weapons and armor! :D
Shipping and handling is not to be underestimated on the medium sized tents. Mine was close to $200; saving that, on top of saving off MSRP, is a win-win.

Hey James, sell that logic to the over-spending waste-mongers in Congress!!!

I love this quote from the movie Contact: "Why build one when you can have two at twice the price?" :)
Heh :) If I were to get a second tent, it would be to have a smaller, more portable one. I don't see any need to go up in size or have two of the same design in this case. I think mine is a 12x15, so this one that is being sold is just like mine except it's 3 feet longer.

I'm pretty sure someone did a long time ago. ;)
