I'm not sure this is the appropriate forum for this, but since it's pictures of an armour kit, this is where I'm putting it until told otherwise.
Anyway, I had the privilege of having a large amount of my senior pictures taken in my kit (the 1300 Teutonic one). The location is the town castle.
I think the last few pages of the album will interest you chaps.

Nice!

Awesome! I was about to ask why we didn't get an invite! When I got to visit the castle, it was really cool. Did you get to see the "secret" areas too? The owner is a really nice guy.
When I first read the thread, I thought "senior" meant elderly people. And then, when you said the last few pages might interest us ... I thought I might have to say "you kids get off my lawn!". :D
We definitely need to get some full group photos up there sometime! Congrats on some awesome pictures.

That's really awesome Nathan! You really got some great shots in there.
-
wow awesome.... get a hair cut ya hippy. justin beeber wants his hair back :P hahahha jkjk i like your atlettes. really cool man.
-
Thats awesome. I like how I can see all the detail in your armor and whatnot. Makes me want to modify my kit a bit to look similar. I especially like the pics in the medieval room it suits your kit quite well. Now to get a Dargen style great helm and you'll look complete.

Hey, thou shalt not challenge my Prince Valiant hair! ;)
Thanks guys, and yeah, the ailettes really pop.
I was allowed to take a photo shoot due to my uncle knowing the guy who owns the place. He was really great about it, he didn't vulture watch or anything. :)
And I could see about doing this with you guys. If we all pitched in a couple dollars, I could get the same photographers (they have a whole bunch of reenactment experience), and were really excited about pictures of armour.
Geez, what is it with my topic names suggesting totally different meanings? First it's the shine of medieval pants, then the shrine of medieval paints....
Ulrich, I have a great plan for this rig. Keep an eye out this January/Febuary. And what changes are you thinking of? I'd be happy to tell you how it's all put together. :)

Wow! those sre come really cool pics, Sir Nathan! Well done! :D
-
Yep, the armory is fine since they're kit photos. The "round table" section would be fine too. :)
Awesome pictures! I *really* like some of the ones on the thrones, and in the window. Fantastic. And I want that castle. We might need to plan a siege.
-
Awesome pictures Sir Nathan! You are truly blessed to have such a wonderful castle in your town! Oh and I agree with the KC we need to plan a siege! :)
-
Thanks guys, and yes, we need that castle. Maybe we could marshal our forces under the pretext of a photoshoot, then mount a surprise attack from the inside! ;D
-
Very cool pics :D :D

it needed a LOT of updating last time i was there. the entire second level and the back wall was almost rotten.
-
Nice shots Nathan. I had a mop my senior year too. :) Enjoy your senior year. PS Hammertime is coming soon!! ;D

Did you just say *updating* in regards to a *castle*???
I mean high speed internet, yeah, but stone walls are always classic! :D

see it started out that way but didnt finish that way. the original owner died during the building and left it to his much younger wife. she could not inherit his fortune unless she finished the castle.. she took huge short cuts but ended up spending almost all of the money he had left for her in doing so the back wall was all wooden structure, the cieling had parts i couldn't walk on cause it was rotten. lots of stuff like that
-
Thanks Guys! It seems the new guy went and fixed all that. I cannot attest to the roof, but the 2nd level and and back wall are fixed up. :)

Wait, is the guy who still owns it the one who has his picture in the dining room of him w/his dogs? Last time I was there (2 years ago?) the second floor was his "modern living space", and only the first floor was open.
-
Very cool. I like that mace you had, it looked good with your kit.

When I read the thread title, and seeing it was Sir Nathan posting it, I thought I'd see pics of US in various kits from over the past year or so as an amusing tribute to his much elder brethren! Glad to see it was just him- you're the man Nathan, you cut quite a dashing figure, be it in modern or medieval attire.
