Isabella E does wonderful work, do you agree?
-
Excellent!
-
Indeed. Is that yours?
-
Excellent indeed! :D
-
Very cool! Where was that picture taken?
-
that is cool man!
-
Well done!
Looks like that was taken near where I live. :D
-
Sir James, yes it is. I just got it recently, put the order in a couple months ago.
Thorsteinn, how close are you to Isabella E? She puts the finished banners on the same pole and snaps a pic...this one is of mine.
Sir Brian, wherever Isabella lives! And thanks to all...now I just need somewhere to put it- due to it being silk, it is at its best in the sunshine, not on a wall (where it currently is lol).
-
She's about 550 miles SE of me around Kingman, AZ. It looks to be near enough to High Desert conditions there.

I thought it might be since the colors match yours, but the background of the picture really threw me off. Congratulations on the new acquisition. :)

Thank you, Sir! The background is a great vista shot...nothing like that near me as you well know. lol
-
Excellent banner, Sir William. Background in photo looks like the Waco, TX compound slightly. lol ;D
-
Thank you, Lord Dane...if that were so then my banner is appropriately placed as I would be besieging them. lol

Well..if you happen to have a siege crew & Trebuchet available, let's test it out for distance. I'll lay down close support with a Ballista & we'll do some Crusader-like manuevers. It would be more impressive than the heavy tank armor driving through the doorway & through the walls used in 1993 by the Feds. That certainly went well for them. ::) Light the greek-fire!!!!

I have a buddy on another site who actually built a working trebuchet- on a smaller scale but it was enough to hurl ordinance (I forget what they used) some 100 metres or so.
Thank you, Red Knight!
In case anyone is interested, she charged me $90 for it, it is 100% silk. If you are interested, you can email her and talk banners: silkbanners@gmail.com
Tell her Paladin74 on AA sent you - I don't get anything for it, but you could then mention that I made note of her on this site, maybe we can get a group rate going or something? Wouldn't hurt to ask.

How long does she usually take to respond? I tried contacting her over the weekend, so it's been most of the week now, and no response.

Send her a PM on AA and reference the email (and address) you sent the original request from so she knows its you. If I recall correctly, I pm'd her initially, then sent her an email.

I think I did the same. I traded emails with her 3 or 4 times over the course of one day; she was very quick at responding.
