Just got this yesterday & I'm really diggin' it. Engraved on it it says- "Surge domine et dissipentur inimici tui et fugiant qui oderunt te a facie tua." Translated as "Rise up, Lord; may Your enemies be scattered and those who hate You be driven from Your face.(Numbers 10:35)"

Excellent Bible Verse and I must say impressive engraving in the fuller. Well done! ;D

Of their one handed swords the cherry wood & engraved one was cheaper than the regular one. I only read after getting it I could have had a custom phrase (I have a good one too. From the Aeneid*).
But for even pure artworks sake I think it's plenty cool. :)
*Alea Iacta Est. Moriamur Et In Media Arma Ruamus. Una Salus Victis Nullam Sperare Salutem.
The die is cast. Let us be killed even as we rush into the midst of battle. The one hope of the doomed is not to hope for safety.

Now that's a great sword. Can I borrow it to cut through this damn 3-day old block of Vermont extra-sharp cheddar cheese??? I don't know why they call this dang cheese extra-sharp when it's so damn stale & brittle. Extra sharp my ars!! Won't be using this cheese block as a whet-stone anytime soon. Least the wine bottle opens with ease. :P Drink hardily my brethren for I shall soon be fore-gone til the sun shines.
