This is my all time favorite mod for Warband and the latest beta is out. Thought I'd try my hand at some sea battles! :)

Looks great Sir Brian! Right now I'm kicking around in Europe 1200.

Hey, JW, how do you install Floris? I've got their basic pack, but I'm having issues getting it onto a module.

BTW, do you have AD 1257?

I tried AD 1257 and liked it but decided not to get to involved with a game since they had a ways to go before completing the module and a few months ago I heard it has been in arrested development. The Floris beta 2.5 version is really simple to install. You just have to extract the files into the 'modules' subdirectory of your Warband install. :)

Oh, ok. Would I have to move Europe 1200 out first, so I don't have all the Floris stuff in Europe 1200?

I mean, Narf's plate package is beautiful, but maybe not in the early 13th century!  ;)

No if you look under the modules subdirectory of the Warband directory you'll see each module creates it's own seperate subfolder so at the Warband launch screen you get to have a drop down listing of all the mods you have installed to choose from. ;)

I tried this mod but it keeps glitching my PC... And I got a top of the line PC as of 2010... Heh guess it's time to switch to windows 7.

I wanna try AD 1257. But Tortoise isn't working for me. What other SVN clients work?

1257 AD is actually quite good, it just doesnt work on my PC for some reason. Theres tons of historically accurate stuff in it and maille actually protects against arrows as long as they're not crossbow bolts. Armor makes you close to invincible and you can only recruit knights if you own a castle. I didnt get very far until it started crashing on me but I hired mostly rabble from the villages and militia from the cities.
