Title: Armour Archive - just joined
Post by: Sir William on 2011-05-13, 17:29:08
After having run through a few topics and boards, I've come to the realization that everything I thought I'd seen or knew about armour is but a drop in the bucket.  Some of the smiths on that board make such items as to seem like masters of their craft.

I bow to their steel-working greatness!

I agree that AA showcases some great armourers.  There's a little of everything from fantasy to munitions grade SCA to very pretty SCA to living history level quality.  If you really want to get your socks blow off and feel totally inadequate, join myArmoury (http://www.myarmoury.com/home.php).  ;)

I would except the site's blocked and I do most of my net-trawling while at work...hate that, actually but oh well.

Sir Wolf, I kind of hold you to blame...you're always posting the links to that site whenever someone's got something for sale or said something cool...lol

Ivan, thanks...I'm gonna need it.
