The more and more I watch these videos the more and more eager I am to get out there and participate. Get in the thrill of the action and the education. I sure hope a moment arises this Summer! Plus it doesn't help that I'm slightly jealous of my brother for going without me the other time.

Something that the video confirms (that I knew on the spot) was that the middle show on Sunday, I wasn't fighting well. I think the heat got to me, or something, because I was moving slowly and repeating mistakes. Then, at the last show, I was fighting more normally again.

I haven't watched the Sunday one yet (queuing it up now!), but the last fight between Sirs Brian and Nathan from the Saturday video was pretty wild. The sequence of events that unfolded in that short amount of time was fun to watch. :D

BTW, a huge thanks goes out to everyone who manned the camera these last two weekends. Sir Jason recorded several of them, but Baron de Magnan (Mike) went above and beyond by continuing to work the camera even when he really didn't want to anymore, but no one else was on hand to do it. I'm hugely grateful for that. Thanks guys!

Sunday was particularly interesting, with Sir James getting his nose broken in the last show of the weekend.
Something else that was interesting (and more fun than a broken nose), was our guest I.33 fighter during the 1:30 show. I managed to bend my sword, running him through (I didn't expect him to keep pressing in with that thrust, and that's exactly how those bends tend to happen). It started with a couple of double-hits, after which I realized he was a little over-aggressive, and started letting him close the distance.
