Title: Mike Loads Meme
Post by: Aiden of Oreland on 2013-10-09, 03:49:04
We could start a whole new internet meme about Mike Loads. Such "Mike Loads, with a stapler" or "Mike Loads with rubber duck" and just take images of him and photo shop the random objects in lol. I think it would be funny because of the way he describes how effective everything he touches. As long as you know who Mike Loads is and knows how he acts then you might get it.

Mike loades is always being bad donkey in his videos, give him any medieval related item he will find a way to kill 100 people with it and most likely explain to you how unique that weapon is while killing you with it.
Example " as you can see the medieval fishing rod was a very useful tool especially if you were attacked by maurauders"  as he hooks your throat with it.
I hope this meme sky rockets one day

Entirely doable. All that is needed is a whole slew of photos of him holding various medieval tools.

Who is Mike?

*Gasp* he is the man that makes "going medieval" and various other programs. Every thing he touches has a million uses lol. Literally this mean i came up with you photo shop any object in his hand and those who understand Mike Loades will know that he will explain a hundred uses and ways to kill you with it. He also is in a robin hood documentary about the Newer Robin Hood.

Who is Mike?

Doctor, we need ten CCs of Loadesium! Stat! ;)

He also hosted Weapons that Made Britain a five-part series on...well...medieval weapons. It can be found in its entirety on YouTube if you ever wanted to take a look.

Weapons That Made Britain - E01 - Sword (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=As1rGnx9vng#)

He's also written a few books and has appeared in numerous other documentaries. What I like most about him is that he's not only very knowledgeable about his subject, but he's also very enthusiastic about it. You can tell he really has a passion. He doesn't just sit in front of a camera in a stuffed suit and act all academical; he's a very hands-on historian.

Eh, I haven't even had cable for 10 months. He's also a published author and recently released a book on the Long Bow.

But if you'd seen him talk, you'd know him. Very enthusiastic guy, and a pleasure to watch.

He also consulted for Rome II: Total War, which if you're familiar with the Total War series makes a legitimate attempt at being historically respectful.

He's not in these, but he directed them:

You know, Romens were always ahead of their time in my opinion. They had superior pluming systems. A superior army that in my opinion could conquer any army. They were also very clean, and ate well. There architecture was unmatched lol. Could build a bridge in one day. They even had a democracy! To bad that they were regardless of life. Wiped out a whole species of lions for their entertainment. But one of the key things that madetheir army so strong was loyalty and "I shall die for Rome" attitude. Thejy trained very much like our modern military. Heck, where do you think we get it from, and our democracy.

"They even had a democracy!"

Watch HBO's Rome with the All Roads Lead To Rome option turned on. It'll change your mind on a lot of that.

Besides, they didn't have Democracy but a Republic, then a Tyrant, then an Emperor.

Let me correct that Rome thing, I forgot that a Legion cares more about its leader than Rome. Thus why Legions fought one another. They didn't really want an emperor I mean thats one of the reasons they kill Caesar methinks. Well, thats why some of the senate did at least. But the people of that time were easily swayed by the "strongest" leader. If you have ever read Shakespeare's "Julius Caesar" he does a great job at showing how people are easily swayed and how highly Caesar thought himself. Haha could you imagine Mike Loades as a Centurion. He'd take Rome by himself 😆

Well, in the end it all depends on what time period.
