It's me. Canis from Facebook (a few of you know me already) I am highly interested in joining you folks at The Order of Marshal. It looks to me as though you folks have done a few or at least shown interest in charity events. I joined the Mandalorian Mercs for just that reason, though lately it has been a joke. I want to help. I am not very well trained in sword play, nor do I make a lot of money to buy the gear needed. But I am willing to put fourth the effort and find way around these obstacles. I do currently own some armor, though I do not own a sword fitting for the job. I own a barbarian headman's scimitar. (Crap quality/gift) Though I do own armor and 2 different helmets. Which I'm sure you already know. I've wanted to join for quite some time but wasn't sure if the Karfaxian Oath I took would interfere until I read through your bylaws and saw that it doesn't make a difference.

Welcome. Where are you from?

A chivalrous man is not judged by what he has but by his Heart, welcome.

Hail and well met!

Thank you all for you warm welcome.
Thorsteinn I am from Nottingham. Well, I live in Nottingham. I moved here after I got out of the Army. Eight years in Texas was long enough for me.
Sir Aiden. I am a Mandalorian freak. Love the name Aiden.

Hey glad you found us! Did you ever make the Maryland Faerie Festival? I don't remember seeing you there but figured I just missed you if you did go. The Order will be doing demonstrations at VARF on May 24, 25, 31 and June 1. If you can make it down one of those two weekends you can see us in action. ;)

I did make it out there. Though I didn't armor up due to a mishap with my current chainmail. I'm going to be buying another set from our mutual friend Randy. (Lives 2 minutes from me.) And I'd love to come out. I'll talk the little lady into it as well.

Let's see if I still remember how to say "hi" in Mando'a.
Su cuy'gar, Mando'ade.
I think that's right.... Anyway, greetings from a dirty aruetii. ;)

That's funny. Aiden in my native tongue means the one who fetches needed things. Speaking of which, my stein needs topping off. :)

As a page of the order I must apply to thy biddings :-\

Fret not page Aiden. Service to others especially your higher ranking brethren builds character, and speaking of service...my armor needs a bit of attention. Squire Dane will show you how much oil I prefer used on my armor! ;)

Would Sir Thumbs also like me to bang out the dents that I intend to leave in that armor?? :) And are you sure it is the armor that is squeaky and not the joints of the elder knight beneath?? LOL

I would have thought by now Lord Dane you would have learned the prudence of not counting your dents before making them! Not to mention the folly of bantering with one who is renowned for parrying a longsword with only his thumb! ;)
As for the age, suffice to say it is an all the more sweeter victory to one who is in his dotage to whoopass on younglings. ;D

Yes, don't forget just how bad-ass this is. Sir Brian needs only his thumb to stop a sword. ;)

Who knew I could find members of the lost Jewish Tribe, Tribe Shlepper, on this forum. ;)

Far from a youngling at my age. And boasts is how you get battles started. ;) But it is best left for when the victory is earned. Bring enough money to cover the bar tab for each mead you will have to buy, Sir Brian. Fighting makes me thirsty. :)
