Knight for a Day Camp

It's basically day camp for little kids put on by the Oakeshott Institute. I'm so jealous of those kids... I would have loved to do that as a kid! Heck, I'd love to do that now.

That's absolutely awesome! I'd have loved that as a kid... I did get to go to spacecamp though... I want to have my cake and eat it too, is that too much to ask? :)

Check this out:   http://www.rmdk.com/rmdk.html (http://www.rmdk.com/rmdk.html)  -- It's a sort of framework for raising a child with chivalrous ideals and culminating in a knighting ceremony as a "coming of age" sort of thing. Interesting idea.

You're going to hate me even more because I went twice. I went at the high school level, so I was an older kid. :)

Hehehe... Actually, I forgot to add that the high-school level of it is where it's all at... 24-hour simulation, a full week of hands-on stuff, several smaller 2-hour simulations, free-run of the museum, etc. :)
